The exploration of different whites suggested by the Apuan Alps prompted me to investigate other effects of light.
This new cycle of painting at which I mainly worked from 2004 to 2007 has begun in Tyrol, at the Krimml waterfalls. I then extended my inquiry from Austria to the falls in Italian mountains and on to the Potomac river.
So in 2005-2006 I painted a large number of small acrylic paintings on board (ten centimeters by ten), and then larger paintings. An orgy of white, green, brown, as a pretext for totally informal perspectives and composition.
